Health Professionals Recovery Program

Health professionals are not immune from the dangers of addiction. Stress, long hours, and the ability to self-medicate all combine to create a high risk for substance abuse. If you are a health professional suffering from an addiction, take action now to redirect your life before you make a mistake that can’t be undone.

The Michigan Health Professional Recovery Program is designed to support the recovery of health professionals who are at risk of losing their healthcare license due to substance abuse. The goal is that they may return to practice, while protecting the safety of the general public. Harbor Hall has been a provider for HPRP since 1993.

Harbor Hall offers two treatment options:

  • Inpatient: we offer residential treatment for adult males over 18 years old.
  • Outpatient: we provide assessments, individual therapy and weekly group sessions for male and female licensed health professionals involved with the HPRP. We also fulfill the necessary documentation requirements.

If you are interested in learning more about our health professionals recovery services at Harbor Hall, please call our office at (231) 347-9880 or contact us for more information or to set up an appointment.
